Course Expectations

MATH CLASS RULES/ EXPECTATIONS 

     1. Arrive to class on time! Students without a signed pass, will automatically be marked tardy.

     2. Be prepared for class! Students must always have a pencil (NO PENS), math notebook, math folder, Chromebook (fully charged) and Chromebook charger brought to every math class.

     3. Respect at all times! Students are expected to show respect to all adults and peers in the classroom by being attentive, quiet when others are speaking, and keeping hands/feet to themselves.  

 

CELLPHONE POLICY

All students will be asked to place their cellphones in the provided phone pouches at the beginning of each class. No cellular devices are allowed during class!

1st offense - Verbal warning

2nd offense - Phone Call home

3rd  offense - Lunch Detention will be assigned

Further violations will result in referral to the appropriate administrator.

 

GRADING SYSTEM

Assessments (tests, quizzes, projects) - 60%

Classwork (worksheets, group work, note taking, participation) - 35%

Homework - 5%
